Our Process

Your plan, developed
one step at a time.

We built our entire business model around structured checklists, inspired by the book The Checklist Manifesto. As active quarterbacks of your financial plan, we facilitate, participate in, and coordinate meetings directly with your CPA and estate planning attorneys to help make sure every decision is aligned.

1. Data Gathering to See The Whole Picture

You pull together the documents. We do the reading. Before any recommendation, we want to see what you own, what you owe, what your company benefits actually entitle you to, and what you want the years ahead to look like. This conversation also covers expectations in both directions: what you can count on from us, and what we’ll need from you to do the work well.

2. Analyzing Investments, Retirement, and Cash Flow

We analyze current holdings and make specific recommendations on allocation. For most of our clients that includes a concentrated stock position and a set of real decisions about how much risk stays on the table. We model your retirement income: which accounts it comes from, in what order, and what each sequence costs in taxes. Your cash flow gets the same scrutiny.

3. Addressing Gaps in Your Protection

We review the coverage already in place, identify the gaps, and tell you which ones are worth closing. Life, disability, long term care, retiree health care. Your estate documents get the same read, including whether the beneficiary designations match the plan you think you have.

4. Delivering, Then Implementing The Plan

Transfers, account openings, beneficiary updates, paperwork. You get a specific to-do list with a name next to every item, and most of those names are ours. We drive it to completion and keep following up until it’s finished. This is the step we’re most protective of, because the best strategy in the world means nothing if it never actually happens.

5. Reviewing & Confirming The Plan

Once the plan is in place, we set up a time to review it. Outstanding items get closed. Questions get answered, including the ones you didn’t want to ask in the first meeting. We make sure you can log in, find your accounts, and read your own statements.

6. Parterning With You On a Set Rhythm

Reviews get scheduled ahead on a rhythm we set together, so nothing waits for you to remember it. In between, call or email. Someone answers. Most of our clients reach us before the decision rather than after: the job offer, the vesting date, the tender offer, the house.

Your legacy starts
with a plan built to last.
